I did a couple of searches and found a link on Life Hacker to usingmac.com where they actually explain how to get that laser search! the basic idea is that you type in your search term followed by "kind:" and the kind of thing you're looking for. I typed in "podcast kind: text" and it found a whole bunch of text documents with the word podcast imbedded in them - in 1/10th the time that Windows would never even find the word podcast if it were the name of my hard drive!
