How-To Disable Java in Chrome

Quick tutorial on how to disable java on Google’s Chrome browser for the Mac.

Open Preferences

In the menu bar, select Chrome and pull down to Preferences.

Under the Hood

In Preferences select the tab Under the Hood, and then select Content Settings.

Plug-ins

On the Plug-ins Feature click the Exceptions button.

Disable Java

Scroll down to Java and click the Disable link. Close the window and browse safely.
