These instructions explain how to subscribe to blogs using Apple’s Mail application
Find the Blog or News Site You Want to Read
In this example, we want to subscribe to the Los Angeles Times Technology blog at http://latimesblog.latimes.com/technology
Select the URL Address
Make sure the url has turned blue when you select it.
Copy the URL
Hit Command-C or go to Edit and select Copy
Switch to the Mail Application
Look in the very bottom left for the + Button
Close Up View
Click on the + Sign in the bottom left to add the new RSS Feed.
Select Add RSS Feeds…
When you click + a pop-down menu will come up, seleect Add RSS Feeds…
Paste the URL
In the window that comes up, make sure "Specify the URL for a feed" is selected, and paste the URL into that field. Warning – there may already be a URL in that field, just select it and replace it with the new one.

Click Add
Your New Feed
You should now see your new field down in the bottom left under RSS, with a number showing how many unread articles you have.
