Problem to be solved: You have people with whom you’d like to share photos but they don’t have Apple devices so iCloud Photo Sharing doesn’t work for them.<\/p>\n

Solution: Create a shared album and generate a URL through which they can view the images in a web browser<\/p>\n

Note – I’m pretty sure this only works from your System Photo Library.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n

Open Photos<\/h3>\n
\n
    \n
  1. Select an Album (or just start with Photos or All Photos)<\/li>\n
  2. Select some photos<\/li>\n
  3. Click the Share icon<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<\/div>\n

    Select iCloud Photo Sharing from the Share menu<\/h3>\n

    Create New Shared Album…<\/h3>\n
    \n

    Name the Shared Album<\/h3>\n
    \n

    Then hit Create<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Click the Little Person Icon<\/h3>\n

    Create a Public Website<\/h3>\n
    \n

    When you create this Public Website, if someone can guess the URL your photos would be available publicly.  This is a tradeoff only you can make.<\/p>\n

    You can add email addresses up above, but only people with Apple addresses will be able to see the album via email.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Copy the Public URL<\/h3>\n

    Either click the url, or copy and paste it into an email<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Shared Album Viewed from the Web<\/h3>\n

    This URL will display on any device with a web browser, requiring no login.<\/p>\n

    Tap on any photo.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    If the viewer hovers near the top of the screen, in the top right they’ll see options to go full screen, view a slideshow and even download images.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

    Add more photos and videos<\/h3>\n
