Proloquo2Go uses symbols and pictures that are displayed on the iPad and selected by the user to communicate. The symbols are grouped by word class (verb, noun, adjective, preposition,&#8230;) with the most commonly used words displayed on the first page. The user can create new symbols to represent words that are not in Proloquo2Go\u2019s library, such as proper nouns or names of products. The user can also share the symbols they create with others who use the app. The setting is the CSUN Assistive Technology Conference show floor at the Marriot in Anaheim, CA.
