This week I asked Don McAllister, owner of ScreenCastsOnline to come on the show to talk about how he automates the production of his video tutorial podcast business. We start at his humble beginnings as a new convert from Windows with a Mac mini and a monitor, up to and including a global workforce with automated workflows. He\u2019s even moved his Mac Pro into MacStadium so it\u2019s a resource for his back end production folks.<\/p>\n

The funny part of the interview is that I totally forgot the MacStadium part during the interview, which was one of the main reasons I wanted to get Don on. He pointed that out after we closed out the show. I decided to record that segment and spliced it back into the show. . I still can’t believe I did that. It works, but man was I embarrassed!<\/p>\n

I must do a disclaimer that I create screencasts for Don\u2019s show, which means I have a massive conflict of interest in telling you how awesome it is. We try to stay to the technical parts of the show production but we\u2019re both so enthusiastic about the service it\u2019s hard to avoid talking about the quality of what Don and his staff creates.<\/p>\n
