Hi, this is Allison Sheridan of the NosillaCast Apple Podcast, hosted at Podfeet.com, a technology geek podcast with an EVER so slight Apple bias. Today is Sunday, February 7, 2021, and this is show number 822. I’m very excited about this week’s show because we’ve got a fantastic interview from CES.<\/p>\n

I had the great pleasure of talking to the USB Implementers Forum Chairman Brad Saunders, and Rahman Ismail, the USB-IF Chief Technology Officer and they explain USB4 and why it’s so cool. Brad starts with USB3 and the advances we gained, then explains what USB4 brings us, and where Thunderbolt 4 comes into play. Rahman then does a demonstration of the power of USB4. The interview is also available as a video which might be fun to go back and watch to see the demo, and also to cement your knowledge on USB4 by hearing it a second time. I have listened to it three times so far to make sure I remember what I learned.<\/p>\n
