This week’s hero is the glorious Janet Chesne. She sent in a very generous donation by going to podfeet.com\/paypal<\/a> and picking an amount that showed her appreciation. She also wrote in the comments: “Q: What’s this for? A: My favorite podcast.” How sweet is that?<\/p>\n

Do you remember the end of two weeks ago’s show where I said that I knew someone out there had been waiting for an answer to a question for a long time? Well, it was Janet. AND when I finally answered her, my answer was, “I don’t know!” And she donated anyway!<\/p>\n

Maybe the rest of you could help me answer her question. She said she’s been using iCloud Keychain and 1Password at the same time, and she wondered if there was any reason not to do that. She said the 1Password folks had told her it was a bad idea, but didn’t really explain why.<\/p>\n

The only answer I could come up with was that it could get dicey if you changed a password on a site or service, and updated 1Password but didn’t update it in Keychain. But then again maybe Keychain figures it out? In any case, I wasn’t much help to Janet so if you have any thoughts on this I’d sure like to get her a better answer.<\/p>\n
