After I posted my article on the fiddliness of Apple gestures, Sumocat on Mastodon<\/a> let me know that you can remove items from Control Center on iPhone. I think I knew that but didn’t think about trying to remove the Music option.<\/p>\n

When I went to the Music section, I realized it’s actually a “now playing” widget that includes podcasts. I still didn’t need it. To my delight, after removing the widget, the entire screen with the little music notes also disappeared. Yay! Thanks, Sumocat!<\/p>\n
