I’m very excited to tell you about my latest ScreenCastsONLINE video tutorial because I decided to focus on apps by Sindre Sorhus. Sindre is a crazy prolific Apple developer with 55 separate apps, as of the time I’m recording this! He’s added apps just since I created the tutorial. The apps I chose to teach for ScreenCastsONLINE are Dato, Aiko, and the browser picker Velja.<\/p>\n

You may remember me telling you about Velja three years ago<\/a> on the podcast. I’m wild about it and have continued to use it. Dato is a menu bar app that gives you quicker access to your calendar in useful ways. I was surprised at the depth of Dato as I learned it in order to teach, and now it’s my go-to app to get situational awareness and more with my calendar. Aiko is a delightfully simple way to create AI transcriptions of audio files, while ensuring that your data never leaves your Mac.<\/p>\n
