Back in 2024, I taught you about a free, open source app called Keycastr<\/a> that allows you to display your keystrokes on screen during demos. It’s a fantastic tool to help your audience understand exactly what you’re doing when you’re teaching new concepts.<\/p>\n

Around the same time, I taught you about an app called Presentify<\/a>, which lets you draw on screen to catch your viewer’s attention.<\/p>\n

I’m bringing these both up because they’re in very active development, and very cool tools, so I decided to teach them both in a ScreenCastsONLINE tutorial. And that ScreenCastsONLINE tutorial was just released! As always, I learned a lot about the tools I didn’t know before, which is why I love teaching through ScreenCastsONLINE. I’ve included a link to the Preview video of the tutorial to whet your appetite, but the usual disclaimer applies. ScreenCastsONLINE is a subscription service where you can get a free 7-day trial where you can watch all of the current back catalog, but beware that it will make you want to get a subscription!<\/p>\n
