You will need to know the url of your podcast feed in order to execute this maneuver, so find it before you start.  Frequently the form of the feed will be rss.xml but that isn&#8217;t always the case.  You will also need to have an Apple ID &#8211; this is the free ID you use in order to buy music, movies and TV shows through the iTunes store.  If you don&#8217;t have an Apple ID you can also use an AOL login.<br \/>\n<!--more--><\/p>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\">Select Podcasts in iTunes<\/h3>\n<div class=\"StepImage\" style=\"margin:10px 0px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.podfeet.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/media-12311117050611.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"193\" height=\"177\" \/><\/div>\n<p>First launch iTunes and select Podcasts in the top left corner of the iTunes window<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\">Go to the Podcast Directory<\/h3>\n<div class=\"StepImage\" style=\"margin:10px 0px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.podfeet.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/media-12311117186011.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"237\" height=\"45\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Now in the bottom <em>right<\/em> corner of the iTunes window, click on Podcast Directory.<\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\">Submit a Podcast<\/h3>\n<div class=\"StepImage\" style=\"margin:10px 0px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.podfeet.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/media-12311117484791.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"211\" height=\"159\" \/><\/div>\n<p>When the iTunes store opens to podcasts, it is very long.  You&#8217;ll have to scroll all the way to the bottom, and find the very bottom left area titled &#8220;Learn More&#8221;.  Under that heading you should find Submit a Podcast link.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\">Enter your RSS feed URL<\/h3>\n<div class=\"StepImage\" style=\"margin:10px 0px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.podfeet.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/media-12311117874841.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"560\" height=\"417\" \/><\/div>\n<p>Enter your Podcast Feed URL in the window and click Continue.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\">Enter your Apple ID and password<\/h3>\n<div class=\"StepImage\" style=\"margin:10px 0px;\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/www.podfeet.com\/wordpress\/wp-content\/uploads\/2009\/01\/itunes1.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"546\" height=\"224\" \/><\/div>\n<p>In the fields shown, enter your Apple ID or AOL ID and enter the associated password, and hit Continue.<\/p><\/div>\n<div class=\"LessonStep top\">\n<h3 class=\"StepTitle\">Wait<\/h3>\n<p>The final step is simply to wait until Apple enters your Podcast into their database.  In my experience it only takes about a day or two.
