Transcript of Interview:

Allison: I have no idea what’s happening, but this gentleman came up to us in a purple tuxedo, and he said he wants to do a magic trick. I am terrified.

Jonathan: Yes, thank you. My name is Jonathan Mollo, and I was asked to share a quick magic trick courtesy of Lockly. Are you ready, Allison?

Allison: I am terrified.

Jonathan: Are you terrified? Don’t be terrified, Allison.

Steve: You’re giving him your wallet.

Jonathan: Well, the wallet, I already have it, Allison. I like how she checked. Did you see that? You’re like, wait a bit. So, Allison, I do need to borrow something special in order to make the magic happen. But in order to share something special, I need to borrow your ring. The more expensive, the funnier. Do you have a ring that I can borrow?

Allison: I have a sentimental ring and another one.

Jonathan: Now, whatever you feel comfortable with.

Allison: I’m really going to give you my ring.

Jonathan: Nobody ever trusts me. Nobody ever says yes. Thank you so much. Okay. Can I ask you a question?

Allison: I’m literally giving him a diamond ring.

Jonathan: Wow, thank you so much. Is that for insurance purposes? Is that what it is? What is the magical memory, first of all, to this ring? Why is it so special?

Allison: It was stolen by TWA Airlines and replaced by State Farm.

Jonathan: Well, I love it. That’s such a magical story.

Allison: It is. It’s sentimental.

Jonathan: That’s so nice. Can we add another magical memory to this? Is that okay?

Allison: Sure.

Jonathan: I want you to watch right here, Allison, just for you. There we go. This is my favorite part. This is where I need you to watch.

Allison: It’s gone out of his hands.

Jonathan: It’s gone. Yes. But this is where you need to use your imagination. Attached to my finger is the ring. It actually flies through the air and lands right back on your finger. Go ahead and take a look, Allison. I’m not that good. That would have been amazing. You don’t want to miss this, brother. This is crazy. Watch, nothing between my fingers, nothing up my sleeves, and in my back pocket, I carry my keys, and securely attached on my keys, Allison, is a ring. Not just any ring. Is that your beautiful ring?

Allison: My sentimental ring. It is.

Jonathan: Your sentimental ring. Do it again. We’re going to do it again because Steve asked so nicely. Can we try that one more time?

Allison: Really?

Jonathan: Yes. So, you’re going to hold out your hand just like this.

Allison: Okay.

Jonathan: Don’t put it on quite yet. Now, everybody knows what’s going to happen. It’s going to go right back here.

Allison: He’s putting it in his back pocket.

Jonathan: Yes. And I’m going to take this from you right here.

Allison: Right here. Okay.

Jonathan: Do you remember what’s in my back pocket?

Allison: Yes, your keys.

Jonathan: Absolutely my keys.

Allison: And your hands never left your arms.

Jonathan: I have to use that. I have to use that. They have never left my arms, and attached to my hand…

Allison: It’s not there.

Jonathan: That’s a shame. Thank you so much. Do you have another ring we can use? No, that’s not right. You’re very sweet. I have a gift for you. You’re going to hold out your other hand right here.

Allison: Okay.

Jonathan: There’s no money in there because I’m a magician. Yes. In my wallet, in this zipper pocket, I have an envelope, a sealed envelope.

Allison: It is a sealed envelope.

Jonathan: That is for you.

Allison: Oh my gosh. It’s a sealed envelope. I’m opening it here. And inside is my ring.

Jonathan: Yes. Thank you. Make sure it’s your ring.

Allison: Well, it’s a unique ring.

Jonathan: It’s a very unique ring. So, thank you so much for letting me borrow something so special.

Allison: And for this we get to talk to the Lockly people?

Jonathan: Thank you. Yes, the Lockly people will help you here. I have my friend here that will help you right over here. Thank you so much for having me. I really appreciate it.

Allison: Thank you.

Jonathan: Thank you, guys.
