How to Enable Apple Music on Amazon Echo

On 14 December, Amazon began rolling out Apple Music on its Amazon Echo devices.  This quick tutorial will walk you through how to enable it and if you want, to make Apple Music your default music library and station.

Home Screen

From the home screen, click the little lines in the upper left.

Choose Things to Try

Select Amazon Music

Choose Select Music Service

Link New Service

Choose Apple Music (or another service)

Enable to Use

Authenticate to Apple’s Services

Enter your Apple ID and password and then your two-factor authentication to sign in.

Allow Alexa to Access Apple Music

Select Done

Choose a Default Music Service

This window show pop up on its own.  Choose Visit Music Settings.

Default Services

If you desire, choose Apple Music for your default music library and or default station.  Enjoy!
