Unite is Accessible
Just last week, on October 29, in my review of the site-specific browser creating app Unite, I reported that it was inaccessible to screenreaders. I wrote to the developer, and Binyamin has already released an update (version 6.5) that vastly improves the accessibility.
All of the buttons I said were labeled simply “button” are now labeled, and better yet, you can even navigate around with these elements. It’s not perfect yet, but it’s pretty usable with VoiceOver. I can’t believe he did this much work in literally 5 days since I pointed out the missing features!
If you’re a VoiceOver user and were interested in the app, I highly encourage you to give it a try, and when you find issues with VoiceOver support, let Binyamin know. Remember, it’s available in Setapp or from www.bzgapps.com/…
