Allison interviews Sarah Lovejoy from Ocutech about their bioptic telescopes that help visually impaired people see better. Ocutech Bioptics are like miniature binoculars that attach to your regular eyeglasses and make images larger and easier to see. Bioptics are ideal for individuals with reduced visual acuity between 20/60 to 20/300 and they can be prescribed for one or both eyes. Ocutech Bioptics are especially helpful for seeing at a distance, for viewing television, movies and theater, seeing faces, signs, blackboards in school, shopping, and traveling. They are also useful for near activities as well.
