Allison interviews David Przygoda from Komutr about their wireless earbuds that come in a MagSafe charging case.
Only 1/2” thick, the Komutr charging case magnetically attaches to the back of your iPhone with MagSafe or to other Qi-2 enabled mounts. With a flip-out lid, the case can also serve as a built-in kickstand for your phone.
The Komutr case has a built-in battery for an additional 30 hours of earbud life, while the earbuds themselves offer 7 hours of battery life. It also supports Apple’s Find My feature for quick and easy location of your earbud case.
After one-button pairing with the iPhone, the Komutr mobile app shows battery health for the case as well as each earbud on the phone’s display. It also offers an EQ function and active noise cancellation.
Komutr earbuds and case are available now for $129

Allison: I’m in the Artronic booth with David Prigoda, and this might be the product that everybody listening can probably use. David, tell us about what you’ve got here today.
David: Hi, we are here with the Komutr True Wireless earbuds, and these are the True Wireless earbuds that Apple should have m. They are the first True Wireless earbuds with built-in MagSafe. So you can just hook it up right to the back of your phone. You never lose it. They’re always with you. You have a built-in kickstand.
Allison: Now I’m going to tell the audio-only audience a few things. The earbuds don’t stick to the back of your phone. The case for it sticks to the back of your phone.
David: Absolutely. And the case, you have 30 additional hours of earbud life. So while they’re in the case on the back of your phone, you actually can almost never run out of battery. You get seven hours within the earbuds themselves and then an additional 30 hours in the case.
Allison: So the case has a battery in it?
David: The case has a battery in it.
Allison: It’s so light.
David: It’s so light, very thin.
Allison: He’s looking … a half an inch.
David: Half an inch. Yeah.
Steve: Does the Apple MagSafe charge the case?
David: It does not. Apple does not allow that. Android actually has a feature where they’ll allow that, but so no.
Allison: So the light blinks while it’s sitting on it. What does the light indicate?
David: Well, I actually have one in now. So it basically is paired and connected. There’s a really cool app that also comes with it. So if I click in, I can see the battery health of each of my earbuds. Right now I’m only using one, so you see 100%. Really cool EQ feature, active noise cancellation and adaptive noise cancellation. So it’ll actually listen to the environment and adjust the noise cancellation so it’s the best for the environment.
Allison: But they’re a subtle gray.
David: They’re a subtle gray. No other colors right now, but we’re thinking about that.
Allison: Purple. Make purple. I’m telling you. I love I love a purple earbud.
David: Yep. And at $129, they’re a fraction of the cost of the Apple products as well. So people are really liking it. It also has Find My built into it. So you can use the Apple Find My phone feature to locate these earbuds.
Allison: No, the earbuds or the case or both?
David: It’s it’s connected. It’s it’s the together.
Allison Probably when it’s together.
David Yeah, yeah. It’s it’s the case.
Allison: I’m just asking because we found a guy riding a motorcycle had pulled over the side. One of his AirPods flew out and it was telling him that the earbud was right in front of us and it turned out it was like three houses down. But he did find it eventually, but
David: Oh man. Well we’re really excited about this. It’s available now. $129, $109 in the EU. And yeah, it’s getting rave reviews just for the convenience and always
Allison: Yeah, so I do want to emphasize that I let him go through it too quickly here because I want to stick on this is it sticks really well to the back of your case. Looks like a small battery, but it does not feel like a battery. It is really light and then it pops on the back of it pops open to reveal the earbuds and then makes it into a stand.
David: And one button pairing. It’s very easy. It doesn’t take a lot of setup or anything. You press one button, turn your Bluetooth on, you’re good to go.
Allison: And this is called the Artronic Komutr, but it’s spelled K O M U T R. All right, got to miss some vowels and everything. Where would people find this product?
David Online. I believe Komutr dot… I have to make sure I get that. I don’t want to butcher the URL. Okay. Komutr.io. I knew there was a sign.
Allison Yes. Komutr.io. K O M U T R.io and we’ll have a link of course with the video. Thank you very much, David. This is very cool. Enjoy the show.
David: Thank you so much.
