Allison interviews Samuel Au, Director at Votion, about their suite of home automation devices. Samuel first describes Active, a company that helps other companies achieve MFI licensing for their products. Samual then describes Votion and their two lines of home automation devices. The first is WiFi connected, AC powered, and supports connectivity with Apple HomeKit, Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa. The second line is Bluetooth connected, battery powered, and supports HomeKit only. Votion supplies sensors and controls of all types including a motion and light sensor, leak sensor, smart water valve, soil moisture sensor, remote hub, smart light switch, all-purpose programmable button, smart electrical switch for fuse box, and smart outlet.
