I had a total blast creating my latest tutorial for ScreenCastsOnline. It’s on the blogging software called MarsEdit from red-sweater.com/…. This is a fantastic piece of software that I use for creating all of the blog posts you see on podfeet.com. The best part of doing these tutorials is that it forces me to learn every nuance of the software. I was surprised at how much more the tool could do than I ever realized.
Another thing that made it such a joy to work on was the incredible level of response and help I got from the developer, Daniel Jalkut. He’s always been responsive to any questions I’ve asked over the years, so it’s not just that he wanted to help someone showcasing his software. I believe in this tool and creating this tutorial was a fantastic way to up my game with MarsEdit.
ScreenCastsOnline tutorials are a subscription service for people who really want to learn and bring up their game in tools for the Mac and iOS. You can get a free 7-day trial and watch the entire back catalog to see if it’s for you. In the mean time, here’s a teaser video on MarsEdit:

How could I post a podcast episode to a WP site that uses powerpress and fill the fields in from MarsEdit? I want to AppleScript the whole process but I can’t figure out how to set up marsedit so it can fill in the information and fields powerpress wants.
JB – I don’t know the answer, best to send the question to the developer.
