We hope you’ll join us during Apple’s March 25th event in our chat room at podfeet.com/chat. My latest ScreenCastsOnline tutorial is on the awesome blogging tool MarsEdit. We attended CSUN’s Assistive Technology Conference and I’ve got an overview of what we learned along with interviews with Assistivewear about Proloquo2Go, their AAC App, and Ocutech low vision aids, and I’ll tell you about QD Laser’s retinal projection eyewear called Retissa. Mixed in with all the CSUN talk we’ve got a review by Allister Jenks about SleepPhones (he calls them pajamas for your ears)) and I’ve got a review of the Ampere Unravel and Qi charing case for AirPods. It’s a fun-filled, action packed show!

Hi, this is Allison Sheridan of the NosillaCast Apple Podcast, hosted at Podfeet.com, a technology geek podcast with an EVER so slight Apple bias. Today is Sunday, March 17, 2019, and this is show number 723.

Chit Chat Across the Pond

This week’s Chit Chat Across the Pond was with Bart Busschots but it was not an episode of Programming By Stealth. Bart and I wanted to talk about his recent blog post on Free, Freemium, Free-for-now & what he’s calling Freepi (rhymes with creepy).. It’s a thoughtful discussion about understanding what we’re getting for free and how we’re paying for it. We don’t ever suggest what you should do about any of this, rather Bart is trying to help us better understand what’s happening.

You can find this episode in your podcatcher of choice under Chit Chat Across the Pond Lite or in the full feed of Chit Chat Across the Pond. Of course you can always go listen to it at podfeet.com.

Apple’s March 25th event

Apple has announced that they’re having some sort of event on March 25th at 10am Pacific Time. Steve and I plan on watching of course, and were hoping you could join us in the NosillaCast Live chat room at podfeet.com/chat. We won’t be doing any video streaming, or any audio chatter to distract you from listening to the announcement. We just like to have people to text chat with to get reactions and complain about the feed falling behind and such. Hope you’ll put it in your calendar if it works in your time zone!

This week Steve and I went to the CSUN’s Assistive Technology Conference so I’ve got a couple of interviews for you and some stories to tell about the event. I’m going to sprinkle these amongst the regular content, like another review from Allister Jenks and a review by me! We’d best dig in.

Support the Show

I talk a lot about Patreon as a way to help support the Podfeet Podcasts, but if that model doesn’t sit right with you, there’s another way to help. You can be like Kurt who gets value out of the shows and demonstrated his appreciation this week by using the PayPal donation button over on podfeet.com.. His contributions will help make it possible for us to keep bringing you the high-quality shows we’ve been making for nearly 14 years. Thanks, Kurt!

I am very sad because I was unable to attend Apple’s March 25 event in the chat room. Will I have the opportunity to enter the next conversation?
