Hi, this is Allison Sheridan of the NosillaCast Apple Podcast, hosted at Podfeet.com, a technology geek podcast with an EVER so slight Apple bias. Today is Sunday, August 29, 2021, and this is show number 851. We just had a glorious weekend playing with our grandchildren, made possible by Allister Jenks and Jill from the Northwoods.

Back when we went to Montana for a week and I asked for contributions, Allister actually created three blog posts and audio recordings for us, and I’ve been saving the last (and longest) for a week when I needed help. Jill from the Northwoods accepted a special assignment from me to test out a new capability that Apple has created for Windows users. I’ve got a couple of articles of my own so we should have a grand show.

Support the Show

I often mention that the greatest thing about becoming a Patreon sponsor of the show is that you’re 100% in charge of how much you pledge and how you pledge. At any time you can reduce your pledge, but you know what else you can do? You can also increase your pledge if you feel so inspired. Jonathan Weinman has been a contributor via Patreon literally for years, and just this week he decided to become a contributor at an even higher level. This warms my heart because not only does it mean he’s getting his money’s worth, he feels the value has increased (or his ability to donate has increased). In any case, I think Jonathan is a peach. If you’d like to be a peach too, please consider going to podfeet.com/patreon and choosing a dollar amount to contribute that reflects the value you think you get out of the show.

Why Would You Want to Create a Deep Link to an Email?

That’s going to wind this up for this week. Don’t forget to send in your Dumb Questions, Everything is Fiddly recordings, comments and suggestions by emailing me at [email protected], follow me on twitter @podfeet.  Remember, everything good starts with podfeet.com/. podfeet.com/patreon, podfeet.com/paypal, podfeet.com/facebook, podfeet.com/slack!  And if you want to join in the fun of the live show, head on over to podfeet.com/live on Sunday nights at 5pm Pacific Time and join the friendly and enthusiastic NosillaCastaways.   Thanks for listening, and stay subscribed.
