Allison interviews Ryan Wu from Sharge about their array of power supply and storage devices along with their new AI glasses.
What initially catches Allison’s attention are two small GaN chargers, both shaped like the original Macintosh computer. The smaller one has a single USB-C port and the larger one has three USB-C ports to charge three devices simultaneously with a max output of 67W. The display on this tiny Mac shows the power in Watts being drawn for charging and when not in use looks like the green digital waterfall animation from the movie The Matrix.
Sharge’s new Loomos AI glasses have a 16 Mpixel camera that takes 4K-resolution photos and 1080p video. They deliver high-quality sound for phone calls and music with built-in AAC 99-20 speakers and they support ChatGPT-4o, providing the user with a hands-free AI assistant.
Next, Ryan shows the ICEMAG2 wireless power bank, the world’s first Qi2 power bank with active cooling. It delivers 30W max of two-way USB-C charging power and stores 10,000 mAh of energy.
Finally, Ryan shows the Shargeek 100 power bank with a smart color display to show the charging rate, state of charge, and other key parameters. It delivers 100W max output power and can recharge from 0% to 90% in 90 minutes. It stores 25,600 mAh of energy for all-day charging. The Shargeek 100 is available now for purchase. Ryan also showed the Shargeek 300 which delivers 300W max output power and is scheduled for release in the first half of 2025.

Allison: One of the maybe silliest looking or cutest looking chargers that I have is from a company called Charge and my friend Pat Dangler gave it to me. She gave me two of them and I was so enchanted with these that I got one for Steve. I’m here with Ryan Wu from Charge and one of them is just a little 35 watt charger and it’s got a little happy Mac looking face on the front.
Allison: Looks like a little tiny Mac but the one I’m really enchanted with is a tiny GaN charger. It’s a Mac 67 watts but it’s got three USB chargers and ports and it gives you a display that tells you all about the watts that are going in. Yeah and it kind of looks like the Matrix. So now that I’ve told them why I raced up to this booth and was so excited to talk to Charge now I’m going to let Ryan Wu talk about what he wants to tell us about today.
Ryan Wu: Okay so this year we’re launching a new sub-brand called Lumos. So Charge is still focusing on power supply and storage products but Lumos will focus on AI devices. So the very first one will be this, the Loomos AI glasses. So it’s a pair of AI glasses that support 16 megapixel camera for 4K photos and 1080p video shootings and also we have an industry first AAC 9920 speakers for calls and music so you’re able to enjoy music and take calls with these glasses. And also we support a Chat GPT 4o so it’s basically like an AI assistant to you.
Allison: We’re not going to have to know anything.
Ryan Wu: Okay, really.
Allison: Do you have a price point on these yet?
Ryan Wu: Right now we’re aiming at $200 US dollars.
Allison: Oh that’s not bad at all. So that’s Lumos L-O-O-M-O-S AI glasses and you’re wearing them right now. They look nice.
Ryan Wu: Yeah thank you. So mine is with prescription glasses.
Allison: That’s going to be important for people like me. Can I try these on?
Ryan Wu: Yes, yes.
Allison: Alright, how do I look in the Loomos glasses Steve?
Steve: Pretty cool.
Ryan Wu: Very cool, yeah.
Allison: Alright, so I am also very interested in all of the charging stuff. Can we talk about that?
Ryan Wu: Yeah, sure.
Allison: Can we talk about the charging stuff down here as well?
Ryan Wu: Which one do you want to?
Allison: Well I don’t know what you have. Oh I got to put my glasses back on or I can’t see what you’re doing.
Ryan Wu: Okay, so this is actually one of our latest wireless power banks called the IceMac 2. It’s actually the next generation of the very first generation one, which is also very popular. So it actually supports Qi 2 wireless charging to 15 watt. And if you charge your devices with a cable it will support 30 watt output. Capacity wise it’s 10,000 mAh and this time we upgrade with a kickstand right here.
Ryan Wu: So if you want to binge watch videos you can just snap on your iPhone and then put it on the table.
Allison: Okay, so it’s got the Qi charger on the front and what I love about charge is they’ve got something just fun about it. For no apparent reason there’s a plastic cover on the back that lets us see inside. Looks like that’s, is that a little fan?
Ryan Wu: Yeah, yes. We’re actually the world’s first one to put an active cooling fan in the power bank. So if you snap the power bank on your phone like this it will show the RGB.
Allison: Okay, so it just went red, green, blue. Oh that’s awesome. So we can see the…
Ryan Wu: Yeah, you can also check out the battery levels on the power bank.
Allison: There’s something playful and creative about this company.
Ryan Wu: Yes, yes, yes. Yeah, we are, we’re very, you know, acute in consumers needs so we try to make our products fun and interesting for users. Yeah.
Allison: Alright, so what’s your price on this?
Ryan Wu: This one right now is 69 US dollars.
Allison: And what is it called?
Ryan Wu: It’s called IceMag 2. Magnetic, the Mac. Yeah, I-C-E-M-A-G. Yeah.
Allison: Oh that’s good. So ice because it’s got the active cooling.
Ryan Wu: Yes.
Allison: And magnetic because it’s got…
Ryan Wu: Yeah, magnetic for wireless charging, yes.
Allison: Alright, it looks like you’ve got some big power banks down here as well.
Ryan Wu: Yes.
Allison: Or should I just grab one of these at random? Okay, cool.
Ryan Wu: Yeah, no problem.
Allison: Alright.
Ryan Wu: So this is actually the very first generation of our large power banks called the Shargegeek 100. So we’re actually the world’s first one to put an all full color screen inside a power bank that allows users to keep track of the power status of the power bank. And capacity-wise it’s 25,600 milliampere hour. But it’s also airline safe.
Allison: Okay. So what he’s got in his hands is about maybe an inch and a half and two inches high.
Ryan Wu: Yeah. Yeah, we have two USB-C ports over here, a USB-A. And also we have adjustable DC ports for the DIY lovers. If you want to charge with your, you know, iron, yeah, you can use the DC port with it.
Allison: Yeah. Okay, okay. And again, it’s open to the inside so we can see some capacitors around here. We can see right into the circuit board. That’s just fun.
Ryan Wu: Yeah, so transparent design is actually our signature. Yeah.
Steve: So that’s not a demo model. That’s actually how you sell it.
Ryan Wu: No, it’s not a demo. We actually sell this for like two years already. Yeah.
Steve: The production model has a clear plastic.
Ryan Wu: Yes, yes, yes, yes.
Allison: So is there something down here that we should be looking at that’s the newer one? I just grabbed one at random here.
Ryan Wu: This one is actually not released yet. It’s called the Shargeek 300. Yeah, the reason why we call it 300 is because the maximum output from this power bank is up to 300 watt.
Allison: What?
Ryan Wu: Yes, yes. And also we have the same configuration as that one, but it supports dual 140 watt output from one single USB port.
Allison: Who needs that?
Ryan Wu: Yeah, everyone needs that. Yeah, as long as you have a laptop or a MacBook, you will need 140 watt output. Yeah.
Allison: All right. And then there’s buttons on the bottom that say S8. What do those say? I can’t quite read that.
Ryan Wu: So we actually have a button for the UI because we have a fully upgraded screen from the first generation.
Allison: So if you’re watching the video, now we’ve got a much brighter, bigger display that’s really readable. The other one has the information, the older one, but this new one, it says total in so many watts, battery 14%, total out recharge, nine hours, 54 minutes. So you don’t have to interpret the numbers.
Ryan Wu: No, no. We’re interviewing. We’re interviewing. Yes. It’s actually not showing yet because we also integrated RGBs here.
Allison: But he’s flipping through screens now. He’s got all kinds of different screens he can play with. Oh, there’s a whole menu system.
Ryan Wu: Yes. So you can adjust, you know, the voltage of the DC ports you want to charge. And also you can adjust all the other language or the brightness of the screen display itself. Yeah. To make it more like playful, more.
Allison: Yeah. Yeah. So this is a 300 watt. How big is the charger? 20,000 again, 20,000mAh?
Ryan Wu: 24,000mAh.
Allison: What is this one called?
Ryan Wu: We call it Shargeek 300.
Allison: Is that available or when is it coming out?
Ryan Wu: It’s not available at the moment. We’re aiming to launch this quarter. Yeah. Hopefully February or March. Yeah.
Allison: Very good. So where would people go to find out all of these products?
Ryan Wu: At sharge.com and also on Amazon. You can just type in S-H-A-R-G-E, this is our brand name. Yeah.
Allison: Very good. Such a delight to meet you. Tell everybody I’m a huge fan. I love these products.
Ryan Wu: Thank you so much. Thank you so much. Thanks for having me.
