Neato Botvac D7 Robotic Vacuum

CES 2020: Neato D-Shaped Robotic Vacuum

Allison interviews Kriselle Laran from Neato Robotics about their line of robotic vacuums. Neato makes the industry’s first D-shaped robotic vacuum allowing room for a larger brush/dustbin and for the unit to better get into corners for an improved clean. Neato has a range of Botvacs, from the D3 up to the D7 models, that all can clean carpeting, rugs, and bare floors. You can control the Botvac via the Neato app on your smartphone to set up schedules and cleaning modes. You can also connect the Botvac to your smart home devices/services (Amazon Echo, Google Home, and Apple Siri) via WiFi. You can specify no-go lines within your home that the Botvac will not cross. The top-of-the-line D7 maps and navigates multiple rooms within multiple floor plans (e.g. upstairs and downstairs rooms) in your home using LIDAR technology. It has a fine filter to trap dust and allergens and it operates at up to 120 minutes of battery life. The setting is Pepcom’s Digital Experience at CES at the Mirage Hotel in Las Vegas.
