I have to say, I am really digging Siri AI. And I don’t mean Siri “sucks less”, as others are saying. I mean it’s good. It’s really good. It is not perfect, of course; no large language model is. It’s also better at some things than others. I’ll get into what I think Siri AI […]

Vista – Just Open the Image
I found an app recently that solves a problem of mine, but it isn’t the one-trick pony I thought it was. Every once in a while, when doing a screencast, I need to show a still-shot graphic. This week I wanted to show a PNG of a typical Mac keyboard and point to the function […]

ViewSonic VG1457 is Two 14″ Displays in One
I’m a big fan of portable USB-C displays. My current love is the $500 ViewSonic VX1655-4K OLED portable display. It’s a 15” display that’s super thin and light, and it’s an essential tool when I record the podcast during the live show when I’m on the road. A 4K display gives me the screen real […]

CleanShot 5.0 Brings Studio Mode for Producing Screencasts
As I said in my 2022 article introducing CleanShot X, I’m addicted to screenshot apps. I take a lot of screenshots for the podcast, as you can imagine, but I also find that screenshots are a very useful tool for sending bug reports to software developers. I do a lot of tech support for family […]
