In the center of this picture is galaxy M106. It is a spiral galaxy and its major arms and dust clouds are visible due to the number of frames I was able to capture this year. The center of this galaxy is less defined partly because of the distance and relative size my camera sees. Surrounding M106 is a host of other galaxies. Looking into every corner of this picture, I can count galaxies.

In this picture, you can see my telescope mounted on a very sturdy tripod. The Camera is attached at the back end, and the tracker is the larger object holding up the telescope. The black band near the opening of the telescope is a dew heater, which prevents dew from forming by warming the opening of the telescope. The telescope setup is being illuminated by a red flashlight so I don’t ruin my night vision.
