Very cool indeed. I don’t know if its worth $249 to me (just to do my expense reports), but I’m sure that its a must have for those who have lots of scanning tasks — on the road. Good bye to those trips to the hotel business center!

I’ve had several models of portable scanners and there is a niche use for them. I once had to inventory a safe deposit box and dragged along a Win laptop and USB portable scanner, only to find the bonds were too large a paper size to roll through. And now there’s not much “financial” that isn’t electronic entry, no paper to scan.

Receipts? Use that now excellent phone camera?

Looked up some reviews. One user reported it safely scans photos – which on my desktop ScsnSnap requires a labor intensive Fuji “sleeve.”. Even two photos simultaneously, and the software will split them!
