Mac Power Users 635 – Workflows with Allison Sheridan

I was thrilled last week to be the subject of David Sparks and Stephen Hackett’s interrogation on the Mac Power Users last week. I’ve known David for a hundred years or so but hadn’t really gotten to know Stephen till this week.

They asked me about everything in my tech background so we start at the 512K Mac and move forward from there. We talk a bit about the early days of podcasting, my latest Mac gear, why I can’t figure out what to do with the iPad mini, my current obsession with making diagrams using diagrams.net, the place in my life for Apple Pencil, the fun I’m having with coding, how Rogue Amoeba tools are critical to my workflow, why learning about assistive tech is so fun, why Ulysses paired with MarsEdit is how I write for Podfeet, why I’m bullish in Folge to create tutorials, and why I like Telegram for messaging.

I had a great time with David and Stephen, and I hope you’ll go give a listen to Mac Power Users #635 in your podcatcher of choice, or of course there’s a link in the shownotes.

Support the Show

One of my favorite ways for people to support the work we do here at the Podfeet Podcasts empire is through PayPal. If you to to podfeet.com/paypal, you can push the button and send any size donation you like. The reason I like PayPal so much is that there are people who make regular donations on a schedule of their own choosing, and it reminds me that they’re still out there listening.

This week we got a donation from John Murray. He’s donated before and he always sends a lovely little note along with his donation telling me that he enjoys the show. The money helps pay the bills, and the note warms my heart. If you feel you get value out of the work we do here, please consider going to PayPal and making a donation like John. Thank you, John for all your support.
