CES 2018: We.Stream Secure Mobile WiFi Hotspot

Allison interviews Joachim de Wild from We.Stream about their new mobile hotspot device and service. We.Stream provides secure streaming from a mobile device with embedded cloud SIM technology to enable unlimited data in over 100 countries. The We.Stream service does not require a contract but instead has a fixed yearly price to provide up to 2 GB of high-speed data each month and a capped speed for data usage over 2 GB in a month. NAB 2017: Lacie Thunderbolt 3 Dock

Allison interviews Gaspar Plantreau from Lacie about two of their new products. The first is the 2big Thunderbolt 3 dock which provides storage capacities of 12, 16 or 20 TB. Offering up to 27 Watts of power, the 2big can charge your MacBook Pro along with other peripherals. Lacie’s second product is the Rugged Thunderbolt drive with a built in USB-C connector cable. The Rugged drive is designed for use in the field and offers up to 5 TB of storage. CES 2017: CMRA Band for Apple Watch

Allison interviews Roi Ginat from CMRA about their new camera band for the Apple Watch. CMRA has two HD cameras embedded in the band, one outward-facing 8MP and the other self-facing 2MP. It also captures HD video and has a battery that lasts a full day with normal use. CMRA seamlessly integrates with Apple Watch and iPhone and it syncs photos/videos with your photo gallery. CES 2017: Nonda ZUS Connected Car

Allison interviews David Vespremi from Nonda about their new ZUS Connected Car accessories. ZUS accessories are modular and are based on a smart phone charger which logs the car’s mileage, provides the car’s battery status and remotely guides you back to your car. ZUS accessories also include a smart key finder, backup sensor and tire pressure sensors. ZUS tire sensors can be added to any tire without having to dismount the tire or replace the valve stems. CES 2017: Ziro Robotics Kit

Allison interviews Raja Jasti from Ziro about their new robotics kit designed for kids. The purpose is to make robotics simple and fun while allowing kids to be creative. The kit comes with a smart glove, wireless motors and a mobile app. The app allows kids to visually program their robot and control it with the smart glove. NAB 2016: FoxFury Lighting Solutions

Allison interviews Thomas (Ozzie) Osborne from FoxFury about their new high end lighting solutions for consumer and industrial use. Ozzie demonstrated three lighting systems for different applications. The Command 20 Fire is a helmet mounted head lamp that uses AA batteries and provides up to 72 lumens for up to 12 hours. The Nomad NOW is a rechargeable portable area-spot light that swivels and provides up to 2,500 lumens for up to 24 hours. Finally the Nomad Prime is a rechargeable portable area-spot light that extends vertically to 8 ft and provides up 4,000 lumens for up to 24 hours. CES 2016: Robo 3D Printers

Allison interviews Braydon Moreno from Robo about their new 3D printers. Braydon demod Robo’s first printer, the R1+, as well as their subsequent R2 with full 3D print capability, and the R2 mini. Robo differentiates themselves from other 3D printer companies by bringing content to the consumer such as kits to help users print and build useful objects. An example is a kit to 3D print and assemble a working guitar. Another example is a kit to print and assemble a functional prosthetic hand. Robo facilitates donations of printed prosthetic hands to people in need around the world. The R2 mini will be available in the May 2016 time frame.
