Allison interviews Travis Merrill from FLIR about their latest thermal imaging devices for consumers. Travis showed FLIR’s second generation personal thermal imager called the FLIR One. The FLIR One plugs into the lightning port of your iOS device and provides a heat-based image of the scene on your mobile device’s display. Travis also showed the newly announced Scout TK monocular which provides extended thermal imaging ranges greater than 100 yards. The FLIR One is shipping now and the Scout TK will be available in late Q1 2016. The setting is the CES 2016 show floor in the Las Vegas Convention Center.
